Max "Pain" Griffin becomes the
West Coast Fighting Welterweight Champion by knocking out the
legendary Jaime “El Cucui” Jara By

It was a packed house at the El Dorado Fairgrounds in Placerville
Ca. MMA stars were in the attendance like Urijah "The California
Kid" Faber, James “The Sandman” Irvin, Scott “The Hands Of Steel”
Smith, Mad Mike Gonzalez, Mark “The Machine Gun” Matthews, Phil The
Pain and the Legendary Cesar Gracie. James Irvin vs. Mike Gonzalez
Super fight was postponed because Irvin was unable to regain his
fighter licenses
In the main event it was a stunning TKO that ended in just 52
seconds of the very 1st round. Max "Pain" Griffin defeated 7 time
champion Jaime “ElCucui” Jara. Griffin threw a few leg kicks then a
explosive right hand stunning then finishing Jara with the referee
stopping the fight. Max “The Pain” Griffin is the new and 1st West
Coast Fighting Welterweight Champion.
MMA-KO’s Jeff Gallion the Stallion interviewed Max "Pain" Griffin in
the ring after the fight and asked “Max you have done something
tonight that many have tried to do was beat the legendary Jaime Jara
what do you have to say about that? Griffin said He’s an MMA legend,
seven-time world champ. He’s a veteran, and I mean, I’m 4-0. No one
thought I could beat him. It was a blessing I got this opportunity
to fight him and prove what I could do.
This was an awesome event and all of us here at MMA-KO are counting
down the days for the next big event.

Anthony “The A Train” Ruiz defeated Jared Torgeson in a 5 round
battle winning by Unanimous Decision. Anthony Ruiz is now the West
Coast Fighting Championship Light Heavyweight Champion.

Darin Cooley defeated Mike Christensen by submission (triangle
choke) at 2:39 of round two in the winner takes all match up. This
was the most exciting fight of the night with so much bad blood
between both fighters.

Max Griffin defeated Jaime Jara by TKO/RSC at 0:52 of round one..
Heavyweight Title
Anthony Ruiz defeated Jared Torgeson by unanimous decision.
Derrick Burnsed defeated Nolan Sules by submission (guillotine
choke) at 0:35 of round one.
Darin Cooley defeated Mike Christensen by submission (triangle
choke) at 2:39 of round two..
Andre Fili defeated Vaymond Dennis by submission (armbar) at 1:59 of
round two.
Justin Baesman vs. Billy Carothers
John MaCalolooy defeated Alex Perez by unanimous decision (3
rounds).
Junior Villanueva defeated Adam Porter by submission (rear naked
choke) at 4:10 of round one..
Keni Renta defeated Anthony Charnell by submission (triangle choke)
at 3:14 of round one.
Mike Persons defeated Tramain Shamar Smith by submission (rear naked
choke) in round one.
