Fight Promoter University

RELEASE) -- With the next Fight Promoter University less than two
months away, FPU founder Roy Englebrecht announced the date for FPU
VII. It is set to begin Tuesday, March 30th and run thru Friday,
April 2nd at the Irvine Marriott Hotel in Irvine, California.
Englebrecht also announced that the entire four day FPU VII session
will be made available live on the internet with the first ever FPU
Netcast. FPU VII will be held in conjunction with the April 1st
Battle In The Ballroom boxing and mixed martial artrs show, now in
its 26th year at the Irvine Marriott.
We have a great line up of guest speakers for FPU VII headlined by
Bruce Trampler of Top Rank, Scott Coker of Strikeforce, Richard
Schafer of Golden Boy Promotions, and Loretta Hunt of Sherdog.com,
said Englebrecht. And now to be able to make all FPU sessions
available to anyone in the world thru our live streaming netcast,
will open up a future as a fight promoter to an unlimited audience.
We are partnering with Pathfinder Digital TV to insure the most
state-of-the-art production and quality netcast possible.
A number of young promoters who have attended FPU sessions over the
last three years continue to make name for themselves and are
producing quality and profitable shows.
The first ESPN Friday Night Fights show of 2010 on January 8th
from Glendale, California was promoted by FPU II graduates Kahren
Harutyunyan and Steve Bash.
In Atlanta, William McAlister who has attended two FPU sessions
continues to build the best MMA shows in that Georgia city.
FPU II grad Fred Vallejo out of Toledo now owns that market for
boxing and mma and is expanding to Texas.
FPU V alum Gregg Holtzmann debut MMA in Pittsburgh on June 27th at
Mellon Arena. Ultimate Cage Fighting Challenge.
FPU II alum Brandon Foster will be promoting another pro boxing
show in Batesville, Arkansas and is currently the only fight
promoter in Arkansas to promote regular pro shows.
Besides the 12 classroom sessions featuring 14 guest speakers, all
students at FPU VII will get to work the Battle In The Ballroom
show, experiencing how to set up a venue for boxing and mma,
ushering, fighters walkins, etc. The four day FPU VII session will
cost $1,499 complete, which includes all instruction, meals, shared
hotel room for three nights, 260 page FPU manual, FPU credential,
and merchandise. The FPU VII netcast which will include the 260 page
Official FPU Manual will cost $499.
