MMA-KO sits down with the King Of The Cage
Middleweight Champion Keith The KO Kid Berry in a one on one exclusive
interview.
MMA-KO: First off Keith it is great to have you back to MMA-KO.On
SATURDAY, October 17th, 2009 you will be fighting Doug "The Rhino"
Marshall at the Tulare International Agri-Center with PureCombat. How
excited are you to be with PureCombat and fighting Doug "The Rhino"
Marshall?
KO Kid: Hey Jeff well first off thanks for taking the time to give me
this interview and yes im very excited for this fight with PureCombat. I
don't think I've ever been this excited for a fight.
MMA-KO: Now Keith,It is no secret why everyone is pumped up about this
fight. Two very explosive Knock Out punchers who are going to let there
punches fly in this awesome match up. We all know the game plan but what
are you going to do differently to win this fight?
KO Kid: Yes, most people know our styles but to be honest this fight is
tailor made for me to win and I am going to take advantage of that.
MMA-KO: Now this fight is for the number one contender spot for the
PureCombat Middleweight Title and with the PureCombat Champion Jaime
Jara out with a injury this is truly like is a title fight. Is your
ultimate goal to capture the PureCombat world title or to fight the
Rhino here at PureCombat?
KO Kid: Yes, I like PureCombat alot so im looking forward to a good
future with Al Joslin and Shelly.
MMA-KO: Right now I have never seen you so totally focused for a fight
and now facing the Rhino is their anything in his arsenal that concerns
you?
KO Kid: No Jeff I've seen his fights and im really not worried about
anything hes bringing to the table
MMA-KO: Being that the fight is in Doug "The Rhino" Marshall's hometown
what is your mind frame approaching this fight and what are your keys to
victory?
KO Kid: Since it is in his hometown it will just fuel me more to win
this fight in a vicious manner!!
MMA-KO: The PureCombat Middleweight Champ Jaime Jara took on the Rhino
and the Rhino won in a controversial decision victory earlier this year
with the PFC. Who do you think won the fight and why?
KO Kid: It was a close fight that's all I have to say.
MMA-KO: Now you have been bouncing around from Xtreme Couture,No Limit
also at LA Boxing.Where have you been training for this up and coming
fight?
KO Kid: I have been mostly training at LA Boxing and Gracie Barra for
this fight.
MMA-KO: The PureCombat Middleweight division is stronger then ever. What
are your thoughts on the division and what does THE KO KID bring to the
division?
KO Kid: Im just looking to get better all around I am young in MMA and I
know that so I am just trying to learn and get better everyday but I
believe I bring a hard enough punch into the 185 PureCombat division to
make a difference.
MMA-KO: This fight with Doug "The Rhino" Marshall and yourself could
possibly be the most anticipated match up from PureCombat to date. What
is your prediction on how this fight is going to finish from start to
end?
KO Kid: Not really sure how it is going to end or start but I can
promise you it will be a very exciting fight!
MMA-KO: Keith it was great to have you back to MMA-KO!!Is there anyone
